GAZA: Two Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in separate incidents today in the center and south of the Gaza Strip, local sources reported.
According to the sources, one individual was killed by gunfire from Israeli troops east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while another was shot and killed north of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Witnesses reported that Israeli forces opened fire on a young man near the Karm Abu Salem crossing southeast of Rafah, resulting in his killing. Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled the Areba area north of Rafah, injuring several civilians.
In a separate incident, Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed a young man at the Wadi Gaza Bridge north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. This occurred simultaneously with an Israeli airstrike on a house north of the camp.
Simultaneously, rescue teams retrieved the bodies of eight victims, including three children, who have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Husseiniya area west of the N
useirat camp.
Emergency medical teams also transported several injured individuals after being shot at by Israeli naval forces stationed off the coast opposite the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 40,939 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 40,939 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
