Tunisian Minister of Environment Leila Chikhaoui said her country is commending Egypt hosting of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP27), slated for November 7-18 in Sharm El-Sheikh as an Arab country that shares with Tunisia common destiny, history and environmental and natural features.
Chikhaoui told MENA Wednesday that Egypt is playing a pivotal role as a representative of the African continent in this regard.
She talked about Egyptian-Tunisian relations in the environment domain and COP27 that will be hosted by Egypt in the Red Sea resort city, in addition to topics that will be brought about by Tunisia during the international climate gathering.
