ABU DHABI: Trkiye’s TCG Kinaliada (F 514) Corvette arrived at Mina Zayed following a goodwill voyage to Japan, underscoring the robust diplomatic and military relations between the UAE and Trkiye.
Upon docking at Mina Zayed, the TCG Kinaliada was greeted by Trkiye’s Navy Commander Vice Admiral Kadir Yildiz, who is currently visiting the UAE; Brigadier Hamid Mohammed Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Naval Forces; Tugay Tunçer, Turkish Ambassador to the UAE, along a number of senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and officials from both sides.
Military music was played to welcome the guests, while a group of soldiers lined up at the ship’s entrance giving a military salute.
The Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces Fleet, accompanied by Brigadier Al Rumaithi and the attendees, toured the ship’s sections to see the most important equipment, tasks, duties and main roles it performs.
