Speaking at the event, Director of the ministry’s Department of Educational Supervision and Training, Mohammad Momani, said this project came in response to the Royal directives and Economic Modernization Vision and is an integral part of the ministry’s digital transformation strategy.

The ministry, he noted, employed technology within the scope of administrative and service operations, which aims to achieve digitization of government services.

Momani added that the project came to serve learning and teaching processes and reach data-based decisions at the ministry’s level.

The system comes in cooperation with the Jordan Technical Assistance Program (TAP) funded
by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Through the e-system, the ministry seeks to improve the supervisory service, which would reflect “positively” on the development of professional practices within the classroom, according to its statement.

Th portal will also increase “effectiveness and quality” of educational supervisory visits to improve school performance, in accordance with international best practices, and enhance professional growth of the teacher based on his/her needs, the ministry said.

The statement announced the e-service is available to a “wide” range of users in the ministry , primarily teachers, school principals, education directors and supervisors.
