ABU DHABI: Trends Research and Advisory and the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute have engaged in discussions on fostering collaboration, including joint publication projects, round tables, scientific events, and exchanging researchers and trainees.

This came during a delegation visit led by Dr. Huseyin Bagci, President of the Turkish Foreign Policy Institute, to Trends’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The two parties briefed each other on their research interests and discussed prospects for further cooperation in various fields.

Abdulhadi Al Hammadi, Head of the Administrative Affairs Sector at Trends, briefed the visitors about Trends’ fields of work, its sectors, and forward-looking research vision. He stressed the significant returns of cooperation between research institutions in the region. He explained that the two sides have expertise and competencies that strengthen mutual relations and promote cooperation between research institutions in the region.

Dr. Bagci acknowledged the significance of fostering
cooperation in areas conducive to scientific research and lauded Trends as a vital reference point in the region, serving as a global knowledge bridge.

The two sides agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in the near future to develop cooperation in research and scientific sectors.
