Cairo: The Ministry of Transport, through the General Authority for Land and Dry Ports (GALDP), has made a public appeal to investors, businessmen, exporters, and producers to channel investments into Egypt’s burgeoning dry ports and logistics zones sector.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the ministry emphasized the substantial growth Egypt is experiencing in these areas, which are instrumental in enhancing trade efficiency, reducing the time and cost associated with commodity transport, minimizing environmental impacts, and streamlining customs clearance processes.
The ministry’s statement, released on Saturday, March 29, 2025, also encouraged potential investors to initiate their investment procedures at the GALDP’s headquarters located in the New Administrative Capital. This initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to transform Egypt into a regional transport and logistics hub and to modernize the national transport system.
