Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir inspected on Saturday 27/01/2024 the work sites in the 2nd line of express electric train (October/Luxor/Aswan/Abu Simbel) whose length is 1,100 kilometers from Hadayek October until Beni Suef.
The tour of Wazir started by visiting Hadayek October station where there will be exchange between the first and second lines, a statement of the Ministry of Transport said.
The minister followed up the implementation and construction of the station and the plan to perfectly use all the spaces administratively and for investment.
Wazir also stood on the implementation rates and construction of the main workshop of maintenance of movable units which work on both lines.
Minister Wazir also inspected Ayyat station, which is a regional train station, and Fayyoum/Beni Suef station, an express train station and he inspected the implementation of the rest of the stations on the line which includes 36 stations, comprising 10 of the express train stations and 26 of the regional train stati
ons.
