Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir had talks on Sunday with Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf Bernd Jablonowski on means of promoting bilateral ties.
In a statement on Sunday, the minister reviewed means of benefiting from major German expertise in the field of organizing fairs as Egypt seeks to be a center for exhibitions in Africa.
He said preparations are underway to sign a cooperation protocol in the General Organization For International Exhibitions & Fairs and Messe Düsseldorf to exchange expertise.
Meanwhile, Jablonowski stressed his association’s keenness on promoting its presence in the Egyptian market which is the window to Middle East and African markets.
The association is also interested in encouraging German investors to inject investments in Egypt.
