Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir said on Friday Egypt is keen on deepening its relations with various Arab countries.

Samir was speaking during his participation in the 6th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held in Astana on October 13.

The minister held talks with a number of ministers and officials during the summit, including UAE’s Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Al Mazrouei, Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Qatari Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Qassim Al-Thani, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Adil Tursunov.
