Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir said his ministry is keen to coordinate and communicate with both local and foreign companies investing in Egypt regularly.

The minister made his remarks on Friday at a meeting with officials of a number of major Danish companies working in different fields in the Egyptian markets.

The Industry Ministry provides all forms of support to simplify procedures for the companies to expand their investments, Samir said, urging to remove any obstacles facing the investors.

The government also works on clearing all imported goods at Egyptian ports, the minister added.

The representatives of the Danish companies lauded sincere efforts exerted by the Industry Ministry to support the industry sector and help investors expand their businesses in Egypt.
