Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani met Friday with Norbert Fiebig, the president of the Deutscher ReiseVerband (DRV), also known as the German Travel Association in Berlin.

The meeting tackled proposals to increase the flow of German tourists to Egypt.

It also mulled ways to promote the different tourist products offered by Egyptian travel destinations, including new programs that integrate different tourist styles.

Anani told Fiebig that Egypt focuses on Germany as one of its major tourist markets.

In turn, the DRV president praised measures taken by Egypt to manage the return of Russian and Ukrainian tourists to the Arab country.
