The human factor is considered as one of the main pillars of Egypt’s tourism sector, said Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani.

This came during a celebration organized by the International Cooperation Ministry to launch the Egypt-European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) 2022/2027 country cooperation strategy.

He added that when the ministry set the 2030 development strategy, it included a very crucial element which is the participation of the community in a bid to enhance cooperation with international organizations and establish specialized international centers.

Earlier, the ministry, EBRD and Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish skills council for hospitality and tourism sector in Egypt.
