Tourism Minister discusses luring further German tourists to Egypt

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani discussed at a meeting with Head of the German Bundestag’s Tourism Committee Jana Schimke ways of increasing the number of German tourists to Egypt.

Anani’s visit to Berlin comes after the German government eased coronavirus travel restrictions, in a move that allows German nationals to visit Egypt and enjoy its fabulous tourist destinations, the Tourism Ministry said in a statement on Friday 25/03/2022.

The tourism minister briefed the German parliament member on the measures taken by the Egyptian government in the past few years to secure airports.

Anani also spoke about the precautionary and preventive measures against the coronavirus to preserve the health of citizens, tourists and workers in the tourism sector.

The tourism minister invited members of the tourism committee at the German parliament (Bundestag) to visit the unique and diversified tourist milestones in Egypt.
