Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa discussed in an expanded meeting on Tuesday  16/8/2022with a number of tourism investors ongoing preparations for the upcoming winter tourism season, with a view to promoting tourists flock into the country.

During the meeting, the newly-appointed minister extended his thanks to former minister of tourism Khaled el-Anani for all the tremendous efforts exerted during his tenure to promote the tourism sector in Egypt and upgrade the ministry staffers’ performance.

Meantime, the minister underlined the importance of continued cooperation between his ministry and all private entities operating in the tourism sector, to incentivize investors and increase the number of tourists, saying the tourism industry is a driver of job growth and economic prosperity.

Issa reviewed an agenda outlining a promotional campaign for the coming period promulgating for Egypt’s various tourist destinations and listened to investors’ proposals pertaining to overcoming obstacles hindering them.
