Three Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire near Ramallah

Three Palestinian civilians, including a child, were injured this evening by live ammunition during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the Ofer prison, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.

According to the sources, Israeli occupation forces suppressed dozens of civilians who were gathering in the vicinity of the Ofer military prison, awaiting the release of the second batch of detainees, scheduled to be released tonight as part of an exchange deal between Palestinian factions in Gaza and the Israeli occupation.

The Israeli occupation forces resorted to the use of live ammunition and tear gas canisters against the assembled crowd, resulting in injuries to three Palestinians.

Among the wounded was a child. The injured individuals were swiftly evacuated to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
