Karam Raed Abdo, a young Jerusalemite, is preparing himself to leave his home and the city, in implementation of the occupation authorities’ decision to “deport him from Jerusalem” for a period of 3 months.
The young man, Karam Abdo, was born, educated, grew up, and lived in the town of Jabal Mukaber. This is the first time that he will be removed from his town and the entire city of Jerusalem, forced by a decision of the occupation authorities, and the pretext is that “he organizes events in Jabal Mukaber that pose a threat to security.”
The persecution of the young man Karam Abdo began when he was 14 years old, with repeated arrests and summonses, storming the family home and assaulting its members, deportation from the town of Jabal Mukaber for several days, and deportation from Al-Aqsa “renewed for two years,” leading to a decision of complete deportation from the city of Jerusalem. By decision of the “Commander of the Home Front”
The young man, Karam Abdo, said: “The decision is very difficult, and not once have I gone outside Jabal al-Mukaber and Jerusalem. I will leave my home, my family, and my family, and I will be forced to look for a home outside the city.”
The young man looked at the generosity of the olive trees planted in the courtyard of the family home and said: “Until the xenon harvest season, I will not be among my family members. I will be deprived of the “olive season” atmosphere that I have become accustomed to since I was born, because I will be far from the city.”
The young man, Karam Abdo, pointed out that he was arrested at the beginning of this September, for a week, then he was released, and after a few days he was summoned for investigation and handed over “the deportation decision from the city of Jerusalem.”
The young man Karam explained that during his detention, his sister Zeina, 18 years old, surrendered herself to the prison, to serve her sentence of 5 and a half months, and he was denied the opportunity to say goodbye to her, even though he obtained a decision from the judge allowing him to phone his sister before surrendering herself to the prison.
During recent weeks, the occupation authorities issued dozens of deportation decisions, including: deportation from Jerusalem, deportation from the place of residence, and house arrest in the place of residence. As for the decision “deportation from Al-Aqsa and Old Jerusalem,” it was the largest, as it was delivered to dozens of women, young men, and boys, coinciding with the “Season” season.
