The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green amid Arab selling

Benchmark index EGX 30 was up 0.61 percent to 30,342.46 points, with the Shariah index climbing by 0.20 percent to reach 2,879.64 points.

EGX 70 surged by 1.16 percent to 7,070.08 points, followed by EGX 100 rising by 1 percent to close the session with 10,087.23 points.

Wednesday trading saw 690.90 million shares exchanged with a turnover of LE 2.92 billion.

Market capitalization was recorded at LE 2.0592 trillion.

Trading on securities reported Egyptian and foreign traders as net buyers with LE 89.54 million and LE 6.45 million, respectively. Arab investors were net sellers with LE 95.99 million.
