Thai worker killed, others injured in north after rocket fired from Lebanon

Israeli Channel 14 reported on Friday that one person was killed and another was seriously injured as a result of an anti-tank missile fired towards the Ya’r’on area in northern Israel.

The Israeli ambulance confirmed that one person was killed in an anti-tank missile attack near the town of Yaron in the Upper Galilee, while the Maariv newspaper confirmed that there were injuries in an anti-tank missile attack on the Upper Galilee.

Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the dead person was a 27-year-old foreign worker from Thailand who was working as a tractor driver, and another foreign worker, also from Thailand, was seriously injured.

The Israeli Home Front Command said that sirens sounded in Zarit, northern Israel, warning of falling rockets.
