Sylndr, TRU Unveil Egypt’s First Digital Car Financing Platform

Sylndr: Sylndr, a major platform for used cars, has joined forces with TRU, a newly established non-banking financial institution, to launch Sylndr Swift – powered by TRU, the country’s first fully digital car loan financing platform.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the innovative platform streamlines the car-buying process with features including loan approvals in just 10 minutes, financing up to 5 million Egyptian pounds, down payments starting at 20 per cent, and flexible repayment plans of up to six years.

Sylndr CEO Omar El Defrawy called the launch a ‘crucial milestone’ in creating a fully integrated mobility platform, emphasising the partnership’s focus on customer-centric solutions. TRU CEO Ahmed Seoudi highlighted the collaboration as a game-changer for car buyers, delivering a seamless and reliable digital experience.

The platform addresses a significant gap in Egypt’s automotive market by simplifying financing for used cars, which undergo Sylndr’s rigorous quality checks. Customers can also benefit from Sylndr’s 90-day warranty and a seven-day money-back guarantee, reinforcing buyer confidence.

Looking ahead, Sylndr Swift plans to expand its offerings with new products catering to both new and used car buyers over the next 12 months, further revolutionising Egypt’s automotive financing landscape.
