Suffocation cases in confrontations with Israeli occupation forces near Jenin

A number of Palestinians suffocated from Israeli teargas today during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the village of Tura, to the west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, according to local sources. Confrontations erupted between local Palestinian residents and Israeli occupation forces as the latter stormed the village, the sources said, during which Israeli soldiers fired teargas canisters and stun grenades in the village, causing cases of suffocation from gas inhalation among local residents. The village has been an almost daily target of Israeli assaults over the past few weeks.
