According to State Information Service Egypt, the Suez Canal Authority has engaged in direct and regular meetings with notable figures such as the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization and the President of the International Chamber of Shipping. These discussions have focused on enhancing joint cooperation, with significant investments from the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group at Egyptian ports, highlighting the canal’s pivotal role in supporting the group’s activities.
The authority has also fostered training collaborations with major shipping lines, such as a joint agreement with MAERSK TRAINING for advanced programs in leadership and crisis management. The Suez Canal’s Marine Training and Simulation Academy continues to offer specialized programs to ensure safe passage through the canal.
