State min. for military production follows up implementation of number of projects

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din asserted the necessity of exerting utmost efforts by the bodies affiliated to the ministry to continue the vital role played by the ministry to support the national economy and industry.

The minister’s remarks were made during his meeting with Board Chairman of Abu Zaabal Company for Engineering Industries (Factory 100) Abdel Hakim Shawqi and top board members.

The minister said the meeting aims at extending full support to all board chairmen of the companies affiliated to the ministry as well as following up the implementation status of a number of new projects.

Factory 100 board members reviewed the activities and status of ongoing projects and their time schedule.

Salah El-Din, for his part, highlighted the big global challenges including the coronavirus crisis and the Russia-Ukraine war and their impact on the world economy, noting that the comprehensive economic reform process conducted by the state has helped in mitigating the impact of such crises on Egypt’s economy.
