Cairo: Minister of Youth and Sports and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) board member Ashraf Sobhy met with International Cycling Union (UCI) Chairman David Lappartient to discuss enhancing international cooperation in anti-doping efforts to ensure transparency in sports.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions were part of a broader initiative to strengthen global anti-doping measures. The meeting also included Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud. This dialogue precedes the upcoming foundation board and executive committee meetings of WADA, scheduled for December 4-5. The foundation board is comprised of 42 members.
