Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi honored on Sunday Rahma Amin, a delivery girl studying at Alexandria University’s Faculty of Commerce, in recognition of her commitment to work to cover her university costs.
The minister has also awarded her a bicycle in response to her request in a video posted on her channel on social media websites, to use it in her delivery services.
Sobhi also ordered the officials concerned to facilitate Amin’s engagement in the ministry’s various programs and projects, including entrepreneurship courses, and initiatives.
Meanwhile, Sobhi also awarded Joseph Mena, a preliminary education student, another bicycle to encourage him to practice riding and participate in a ministry’s cycling challenge titled: “Break Your Record” by riding 151 kilometers between Cairo and Alexandria.
Sobhi also appointed Mena as ambassador of ‘Your Bicycle, Your Health initiative” launched by the ministry to encourage people to start riding bicycles as an economic and eco-friendly option for transportation.
