The Arab Orthodox Cultural Club and the Sahouri Cultural Diwan organized a political symposium entitled ‘Palestinian Civilization and the Hollowed History of the Israeli Occupation’ at the Arab Orthodox Club Theater in the city of Beit Sahour, presented by researcher Dr. Issa Farid Musleh is the author of the book ‘The Path of Illusion: Between Jewish Salvation and the Palestinian Nakba.’ The symposium was moderated by the representative of the Sahouri Cultural Bureau, A. Ibrahim Fawzi Odeh, in the presence of a large number of club and office members, people of the country, intellectuals, specialists and representatives of various media.

At the beginning of the symposium, the club president, M. Raed Al-Atrash attended the audience, pointing out the great research effort expended on this book after years of researching the facts and digging into history based on hundreds of sources, books, and historical, political, and psychological research.

For his part, the researcher and historian Dr. Walid Al-Shamali,
who wrote the introduction in the introduction to the book, is a reading of the book The Path of Illusion, pointing to the author’s comprehensive, scientific and profound analytical style in presenting pivotal and fundamental topics for the Palestinian issue, during which he addressed the distorted facts and gross fallacies on which the Zionists rely in their narrative. Stressing the importance of this book published in English to address the West in their language, especially at this particular time when the Palestinian issue is witnessing increasing interest among Western societies and receiving unprecedented support and support.

Musleh reviewed many topics during the symposium, including the Canaanite civilization and its connotations in the Torah, the Semitic peoples who inhabited Palestine since the dawn of history, the influence of the myths of the Canaanite religion on the Israeli religion, biblical myths through the lens of antiquities, and the legend of the Masada fortress and its formulation by man
ipulating history in the Zionist narrative. He touched on the analysis of the deviant Zionist practices against our Palestinian people and the crimes committed against them based on psychological theories.

This symposium comes within a series of seminars presented by Musleh on his first book, which he published at the beginning of this year, entitled ‘The Path of Illusion: Between Jewish Salvation and the Palestinian Nakba,’ which presents the Palestinian issue from an unconventional perspective, and examines in an in-depth scientific manner the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by discussing pivotal and fundamental issues for the issue.
