Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el Kabbaj witnessed the graduation ceremony of the second batch of the “Professional Apprenticeship for Persons with Hearing Disabilities” project. The project was prepared by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with the Al-Qarra Foundation for Development and Sico Technology, one of El-Sewedy’s companies, in light of the cooperation protocol concluded between the Ministry, the Foundation and the company.

The project aims to implement the apprenticeship program for the economic and social empowerment of people with hearing disabilities in behavior modification and vocational rehabilitation.

A number of young people with hearing disabilities succeeded in passing the training and tests that had been prepared, and they were handed work tools to help them in maintenance work.
