Soha Gendi holds a meeting with members of Egyptian communities in Hungary and Poland

Within the strategy of the Ministry of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, to strengthen the connection of Egyptians abroad with the homeland, and their participation in development efforts and issues, Ambassador Soha Gendy, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptians Abroad Affairs, held a meeting with members and symbols of Egyptian communities in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, within the ‘An Hour with the Minister’ initiative’ via ‘video conference,’ in the presence of Ambassador Amr Abbas, Assistant Minister of Immigration for Communities Affairs, Professor Doaa Qadri, Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, Professor Karim Hassan, Media Advisor to the Ministry of Immigration, and representatives of the Egyptian embassies in these countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Immigration welcomed all members and symbols of the Egyptian communities in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, explaining that
the ministry’s strategy aims to communicate with all segments of Egyptians abroad, and direct communication is carried out with the Egyptian communities abroad, through which it seeks to solve any problems or challenges facing Egyptians abroad; pointing out that the ‘An Hour with the Minister’ initiative is one of the pillars of this strategy, as nearly 100 meetings with communities have been implemented virtually within the framework of the initiative, in addition to sectoral meetings for doctors, students, conflict countries, investors, with the aim of continuous and effective communication and reaching the largest number from all countries. Also serving the largest possible number of Egyptians and overcoming any challenges they face.
