Social Solidarity Minister Nevin Al Qabbaj greeted Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese on the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Coptic Orthodox Church’s papal office for projects.

The minister on Monday attended the 10th anniversary celebrations at the papal headquarters in Cairo’s Abbasia district in the presence of the pontiff and Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Soha Gendi as well as a host of ambassadors and respective officials.

Qabbaj lauded the great social and development roles played by the Coptic Orthodox Church throughout Egypt’s history.
