Six Palestinian citizens were killed and several others injured today in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting the cities of Rafah and Khan Younis, as well as the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City.
Local sources reported that an Israeli drone struck the Al-Zahour area in northern Rafah, resulting in the murder of two Palestinians.
Additionally, another drone attack targeted a group of people on Al-Muntar Street in the Shujaiya neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, killing three and injuring others.
In a separate incident, a drone strike hit a gathering of people in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis, leading to the killing of one person and injuring several others.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 42,175 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 98,336 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of whom are women and children.
Thousands are also feared dead under the rubble of destroyed structures across the war-torn enclave, with c
ivil defense teams and emergency services unable to reach several areas due to safety concerns amid the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
