Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday 14/2/2024 his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan at Cairo’s Ittihadiya Palace.

An official reception was held to welcome the Turkish president and the national anthems of both countries were played.

Sisi is scheduled to hold plenary talks with Erdogan on several regional files and challenges, topped by the importance of a ceasefire in Gaza, ensuring humanitarian aid access into the Gaza Strip as well as means of promoting bilateral ties.
