Sisi meets commanders of the Armed Forces

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting on Friday with commanders of the Armed Forces during which he voiced appreciation of the sacrifices made by martyrs to defend the security of Egypt and its great people.

 

After performing Friday prayers at Mosheer Tantawy Mosque in New Cairo’s Fifth Settlement district, Sisi had a dialogue with the commanders of the Armed Forces on local, regional and international developments and their impact on the region.

 

He praised efforts of the Armed Forces’ personnel in carrying out their tasks efficiently and competently in all strategic directions of the Egyptian state, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.

 

Sisi performed Friday prayers at Mosheer Tantawy Mosque; marking the 10th of Ramadan victory (October war) anniversary.

 

President Sisi was accompanied by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki, Egypt’s Army Chief of Staff Osama Askar, Minister of Justice Amr Marwan, Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of State for Military Production Mohmed Ahmed Morsi along with Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and Egypt’s Mufti Shawqi Allam in addition to a host of Armed Forces commanders, officers and soldiers.
