Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed the fraternal consultative meeting held between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the UAE President HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Jordanian Monarch HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussain.
“The meeting embodies the efforts and endeavors made by the leaders of the brotherly Arab countries to explore opening broad paths to enhance Arab action and consolidate joint cooperation between Arab countries”, he said.
He noted that the consultative meeting convened amid growing need to unify stances and visions between brotherly countries, especially with the challenges and obstacles facing the region, affecting the pillars of security and stability, and undermining the efforts made by countries to continue the path of development and progress.
He praised the leaders of the four brotherly countries for their drive to deepen consultation, coordination and cooperation and open more prospects for joint Arab action.
He praised Egypt’s efforts, led by President El-Sisi, in order to support Arab unity, protect Arab national security, and back the steps taken by Arab countries to protect peace and security in a manner that preserves stability and ensures further prosperity and development for Arab countries and peoples.
