Shoukry heads for Davos to participate in WEF

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, the president-designate of the UN COP27, headed on Sunday for Davos to attend the annual meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) which kicked off today.

Shoukry will take part in an event on the public-private partnerships in climate action in the Middle East and North Africa, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez noted.

The top diplomat will meet senior officials on the sidelines of the forum and discuss preparations for the UN COP27 as well as consulting about enhancing cooperation to boost the international climate action at various levels.
