SHARJAH: H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inspected several cultural projects in the Heart of Sharjah on Wednesday.
The Sharjah Ruler visited Bait Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, known as ‘Al Gharbi House’, where he explored its library and the various publications and books available for visitors.
The Sharjah Ruler emphasised the importance of revitalising the area through cultural, historical, and heritage activities that document the history of this region.
He also toured the Qasimia School building, observing the restoration work on the building, the old classrooms, and the facilities previously used by the school’s students, in addition to reviewing the distribution of educational stages for the classrooms.
The Sharjah Ruler was accompanied during the tour by Abdullah Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture, Dr. Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Muslim, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, and several officials.
