The Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah has unveiled its strategic plan for 2024-2026, aiming to achieve excellence and innovation in the service of the Holy Quran.

An initiative has been launched aimed at employing resources to enhance human capital, enabling adaptation to changes and improving institutional work systems.

The newly unveiled strategy highlights ambitious goals and a forward-thinking approach, focused on innovation, excellence, and quality. It aims to enhance sustainability in Quranic recitation, raise awareness of Quranic readings, support studies, improve museum experiences, and develop measurement tools.

The initiative promotes collaboration through strategic partnerships with public and private sectors, strengthening the academy’s scientific and operational systems while prioritizing employee well-being and satisfaction.

Over the course of three years, the strategy will establish institutional frameworks based on modern concepts and practices to enhance performance and achieve organisational
excellence.

The strategy launch event was held at the academy, attended by Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Sharjah Quran Academy, along with Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, the Academy’s Secretary-General, department heads, and employees.

Dr. Al Tunaiji highlighted that the strategic plan is in accordance with the vision set forth by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The vision highlights the importance of innovation, creativity, and quality in the service of the Quran and its sciences, while also preparing for swift changes and promoting excellence in work.

The initiative seeks to uphold the three foundational elements of the academy: scientific research, the international Sharjah Electronic Recitation Platform, and the Quranic museums. The Academy also aims to improve its operational and scientific capabilities through this development, with the ultimate goal of ensuring employee satisfaction and well-being.

Dr. Al Tunaiji
emphasised the academy’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with public and private sectors to enhance leadership and adopt high-performance systems, improving decision-making, digital solutions, and staff development. He also thanked those involved in preparing the strategy and urged employees to work towards its goals.

Dr. Abdullah Khalaf Al Hosani, Secretary-General of the Academy, highlighted the academy’s ongoing efforts to align with modern institutional goals, improving organisational and employee performance according to global standards. He stressed the academy’s mission to elevate Sharjah’s global standing in Quranic service, leveraging advanced technologies to support research, preserve Quranic heritage, and attract top national talent. The Academy is dedicated to enhancing skills, fostering innovation, and promoting a forward-thinking approach to governance.

He added that the Academy is actively engaged in fostering a supportive environment for innovation, ensuring the availability of
essential resources aimed at encouraging the development and implementation of creative ideas that serve the Quran and its sciences.
