The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has successfully connected electricity to 1,540 projects across residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and governmental areas in Sharjah City.

The total load exceeds 142.2 megawatts during the third quarter of 2024, following the completion of inspection procedures and adherence to all security and safety requirements.

These connections have been established in accordance with the highest technical specifications and standards, furthering the ongoing development process across all areas.

Ahmed Al Bas, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, has elucidated that SEWA is committed to the ongoing enhancement of its service offerings.

The primary focus lies in the provision of electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial structures across all regions of the emirate of Sharjah, in adherence to superior standards. This is realised subsequent to the completion of the requisite infrastructure and receipt of requests f
or permanent electricity connections.
