Senate Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq has praised Egypt’s historical relations with South Korea.

During a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Hong Jin-wook on Sunday, Abdel Razeq said that Egyptian-Korean relations saw significant improvement in various fields during the past period.

The South Korean ambassador, meanwhile, said that his country is keen to promote relations with Egypt in different areas amid the current regional and global challenges.

He further praised the pivotal role played by Egypt to reinforce security and stability in the Middle East region.

He invited Abdel Razeq to visit South Korea as part of efforts to upgrade relations between the two counties.
