Security update: Escalating Israeli enemy airstrikes lead to casualties, destruction across southern Lebanon


The Israeli enemy’s warplanes on Monday conducted a series of airstrikes on the towns of Chakra and Baraashit, intensifying tensions in the southern Lebanese region.

In a separate incident, enemy warplanes targeted a home in the southern town of Tayr Harfa; however, reports of injuries remain unconfirmed.

In Zahrani, at approximately 2:00 am, warplanes executed three strikes on a building in Binafoul Square, resulting in multiple fatalities.

In Nabatieh, a significant number of casualties were reported during a nighttime massacre in the town of Harouf. The airstrike targeted the residence of Harouf municipality secretary, Jaafar Harb, completely destroying the building and leading to the deaths of Harb, his son Mohammad, and three others.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing, with efforts to recover a family of four still missing amidst the rubble.

Three individuals, including the secretary’s wife and their son, have been rescued, though challenges persist due to a lack of necessary equipment.

Addit
ionally, a camp in al-Bass near Tyre was struck, resulting in several injuries.

In Nabatieh, enemy aircraft targeted the town of Abba and the area between the towns of Zebdine and Choukine after midnight.

Moreover, a drone strike near the town of Arzoun hit a vehicle, causing reported injuries.
