Commander of the Second Field Army Major General Mohamed Rabie said the army’s engineering equipment are ready to execute the strategic development plan in Sinai.

Rabie’s remarks came as he was inspecting the loaders participating in the development works in North Sinai, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday.

He added the second field army, backed by the army’s general command and the main branches of the Egyptian Special Forces, succeeded in purging Sinai from terrorism.

Rabie underlined that the army and police personnel over the course of a decade made heroic sacrifices to eradicate terrorism and secure the companies working in development projects in Sinai.
