Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Walid Gamal el-Dien said on Sunday the SCZONE plans to invite the private sector to partner up with it in carrying out a number of infrastructure projects, such as desalination plants, in its industrial zones.
Addressing the the Middle East and North Africa conference for partnership between the private and public sectors Gamal el-Dien also said this will take place during the coming three months.
SCZONE is benefiting a lot from the upgraded road networks and other transport projects to incentivize investments, he added.
He pointed out that many infrastructure projects were carried out at SCZONE ports including five quays in East Port Said port which were operated in November 2022.
He added that SCZONE is keen on encouraging more investors to launch projects in various service and logistics activities.
