Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Waleed Gamal El-Din visited on Friday Arish Port to stand on the progress made so far to develop the port.

In a statement, the authority said the visit falls within the framework of its plan to benefit from the locations of its ports to integrate them with the industrial zones and create more jobs for Sinai’s residents.

North Sinai Governor Mohamed Shosha, who accompanied Gamal El-Din, lauded the role played by the authority in accelerating the pace of work at Arish Port.

During his inspection tour, the SCZONE chief listened to a detailed explanation about the development work at the port.
