During the last period, the Holy Sites Train witnessed preparatory operation work, which witnessed the conduct of 7852 train trips, while four complete simulations of the Hajj season were conducted in order to test the readiness of the train to serve the pilgrims and facilitate their movements between the holy sites, as this came after the start of the experiments in two phases: the first, which lasted a full month, during which systems, equipment and trains were tested, while the second phase, which lasted sixty days, during which the trains were tested. Gradually, to reach full readiness through the full operation simulated to operate the Hajj season.

It conducted maintenance and testing operations for the readiness of the Holy Sites Train and its stations, by applying the highest safety standards and quality requirements to ensure that the train operates between nine stations distributed in the Holy Sites (three in each of the Hajj sites in Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina, the last stations of which reach the
fourth floor of the Jamarat Bridge).

The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has also mobilized its human and material energies, expertise and experience accumulated over decades in crowd medicine to serve pilgrims who flock from all sides to the pure Bekaa, answering the call of Rahman, as the Kingdom annually hosts millions of Muslims from all continents and countries of the world to perform Hajj and Umrah, which is a responsibility and honor that falls on its shoulders to protect pilgrim delegations from diseases and epidemics preventively, curetively and ambulance, and to provide them with the finest health services.

One of the most prominent services provided by the Ministry of Health in the Hajj season to the pilgrims is preventive medicine and public health services, where the Ministry of Health focuses at the top of its priorities on the preventive aspects of pilgrims, and follows up on developments and changes that occur in the health situation globally in cooperation and coordination
with the World Health Organization and international health bodies such as the International Centers for Disease Control.
