Salmeron Youssef Wins FAR Prize at Tetouan Show Jumping Competition


Rider Salmeron Youssef emerged victorious on Saturday evening, clinching the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) Prize during the prestigious official 3* show jumping competition. The event, organized by the Royal Guard at the Hípica arena in Tetouan, was held under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

Youssef, astride “Girocco de Jarzey,” triumphed in the 1.30m – 1.35m category, completing the course flawlessly in 46.44 seconds. He outpaced Djaidi Majid, who rode “Enrique HL” and finished with a time of 47.95 seconds, also without faults.

In third place was Jeannin Florent on “Ella du Lys,” who completed his round in 48.14 seconds, maintaining a faultless performance. This competition featured 24 riders from various national equestrian clubs affiliated with the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE).

The Royal Guard’s official 3* show jumping competition, held under the auspices of the FRMSE, draws the most distinguished riders from clubs across the nation. The event, consisting of 19 competiti
ons, will conclude on Sunday with the Grand Prix of HM King Mohammed VI and the Prize of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan.
