S. Sinai governor inspects “Tegla Oasis” nursery project in Sharm

South Sinai Govenor Khaled Fouda inspected on Sunday evening a nursery project titled “Tegla Oasis” in Ras Kennedy area along El-Salam Rd in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.

The project comprises four display rooms to introduce tourists to the project idea and components, said the governor who was accompanied by several senior officials from South Sinai Governorate.

Fouda noted that the project focuses on aromatic plants and medicinal herbs grown by the people of South Sinai.

He added that it includes a plant drying and squeezing unit and an exhibition area for products, which includes handicraft items and art pieces featuring the lifestyle of Bedouin women of Sinai.

It also includes a cafeteria, a restaurant, an artificial lake, a fountain, a water desalination facility, landscape areas, a parking lot, and accommodation units for workers, Fouda pointed out.

The project is scheduled for opening in October, the governor said.
