The Russian Agriculture Minister, Dmitry Patrushev, said Saturday that Russia is capable of exporting up to 55 million tons of grain during the agricultural season from July 1 to June 30 next year. Patrushev told a press conference: “The ministry plans, during the new season, to export up to 55 million tons of grain to foreign markets,” adding that the figure “is considered good.” He added, “If the crop grows, domestic consumption will be stable in principle and approximately stable, which makes the possibility of increasing export capabilities possible.”
