Amman: The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination with the Embassy of Brazil, announced on Wednesday the opening of registration for the third edition of the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities’ International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob).
This program offers more than 800 scholarships across 55 Brazilian universities for students interested in master’s and doctoral programs in various specializations. The Ministry stated that the results of accepted students will be announced on September 15, 2024, with the scholarships commencing in 2025.
The scholarships cover tuition fees and provide a monthly stipend for the entire study period. The master’s program duration is 24 months, while the doctoral program spans 48 months. Applications can be submitted electronically at GCUB Application Form (https://www.gcub.org.br/bsp/application-form.php).

The Ministry emphasized that application submissions are free and will close on June 17, 2024. Students are allowed to apply to up to five universities to increase their chances of receiving a scholarship. The Ministry also advised against last-minute applications to avoid system overload.
