RAS AL KHAIMAH: Under the slogan ‘Unified Sports for All’, the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University today organised a sports day in celebration of the International Day of University Sport 2024.
This came as part of RAKMHSU’s efforts to raise awareness of the importance of participating in community initiatives and events, and in line with the initiative launched by the Higher Committee for Hosting the Special Olympics, aimed at involving and integrating people of determination with various disabilities into sports events and initiatives.
The university, in collaboration with the UAE Special Olympics, organised the unified sports even that saw participation from players of the Ras Al Khaimah People of Determination Club and the Ajman People of Determination Club, alongside players from RAKMHSU, in badminton and table tennis competitions.
