ABU DHABI: Rabdan Academy has hosted the 3rd Circles of Resilience under the theme Emirati Women’s Day: Resilience and Achievement.
The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers who have made significant contributions to society through their expertise and leadership.
Moderated by Mona Al Hammadi, Director of Institutional Research, Policies and Compliance at Rabdan Academy, the panel included Professor Najwa Al Hosani, Vice Chancellor of Kalba University and Member of Rabdan Academy’s Board of Trustees, Rawdah Al Merikhi, Director of Outreach at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), and Dhbaya Al Qubaisi, Artist, Diplomat and Entrepreneur.
The discussion explored the concept of resilience through the vision of Emirati women, highlighting their ability to adapt to change, overcome challenges, and balance various roles in their personal and professional lives.
The panel also discussed the UAE’s ongoing efforts to empower women and ensure their active participation in nati
onal development.
The event commended the unwavering support of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, (Mother of the Nation) Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), in empowering Emirati women through pioneering national initiatives. Her efforts have elevated the global standing of Emirati women, enabling them to hold prestigious positions both nationally and internationally.
The speakers shared personal stories of the challenges they faced and how they triumphed through perseverance and determination.
