The State of Qatar has called on the international community to take urgent action to compel Israel to cease its blatant violations of international law, respect international legitimacy resolutions, acknowledge the historical rights of the Palestinian people, and prevent a new war against Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern about the evolving situation in the Gaza Strip. It held Israel responsible for the current escalation due to its ongoing violations of Palestinian rights, including repeated incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Qatar reaffirmed its unwavering stance on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of its brotherly Palestinian people, including the right to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
