Cairo: Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdel Aati, announced that there is a shared political will between Egypt and Qatar to achieve significant advancements in their bilateral relations across all sectors. He emphasized the importance of enhancing consultation and coordination between the two nations on pressing regional and international issues.
According to State Information Service Egypt, during a joint press conference with Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani, Minister Abdel Aati highlighted the collaborative efforts of Egypt and Qatar to quickly negotiate a resolution to halt the violence affecting the Palestinian populace and to secure the release of Palestinian hostages and prisoners.
Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani expressed his anticipation of participating in an upcoming humanitarian conference in Egypt on December 2, which aims to support Gaza. During the conference, he discussed the topics of bilateral relations and econom
ic cooperation with Egyptian officials, highlighting the focus on Qatari investments in Egypt.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdel Rahman al-Thani elaborated on discussions to fortify cooperation in humanitarian initiatives, particularly in response to the worsening conditions in Gaza and Sudan. He confirmed that an agreement with Egypt was reached on collaborative projects to provide humanitarian aid to Arab communities in need.
